Mark Twain Hotel

Our Story

Downtown Peoria's Premier Boutique Hotel

Packard Plaza Peoria IL

Built in 1967, the building now known as the Mark Twain Hotel has operated under several names and franchises. In 1990, the building was purchased by the former mayor of Peoria and has undergone several massive renovations, transforming the once commonplace chain motel into Peoria's Premier Boutique Hotel. This metamorphosis has produced an attitude and atmosphere that consistently surprises and delights guests seeking a getaway in Downtown Peoria. Our location is ideal for both business and entertainment. Our never-ending list of amenities provides the feeling of comfort and royalty.  Please note, the hotel does not provide breakfast.

This is the Mark Twain Hotel and yes, you are still in Peoria.
